The 2014 NFL Draft is almost upon us. Every year, there is usually that one polarizing draft prospect that drives experts and scouts mad over what to expect when it comes down to projecting that player's pro-potential. We have seen it in the past with players such as Tim Tebow and JaMarcus Russell. This year is no different as Texas A&M's Johnny Manziel takes center stage.
What team could make the most out of Manziel's talents? Here are five teams that have that ability:
1. Houston Texans
The Texans have the first pick in the draft and will have first dibs on the QB if the team decides to select him. Manziel might not fit Bill O'Brien's mold of a traditional signal caller, but he provides excitement and an immense upside. Manziel is also a Texas-born, fan favorite.
2. Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jaguars are in dire need of a franchise quarterback. Jacksonville needs someone to reignite the franchise (along with ticket sales). Manziel's antics and magician-like elusiveness will provide Head Coach Gus Bradley with his own version of Seattle's Russell Wilson.
3. Cleveland Browns
The Browns and Manziel are a match made in football heaven. Cleveland just needs a little excitement in their franchise, and he can provide that. Cleveland's Offensive Coordinator Kyle Shanahan can use all of Manziel's abilities as we have seen him do during the last two years with Robert Griffin III in Washington.
4. Oakland Raiders
The Raiders might have just traded for Matt Schaub, but the team needs someone who can lead them in the future. Manziel's personality and sometimes gun-slinging abilities are a perfect match in the Black Hole. This pick, if it were to happen, would make the late Al Davis proud.
5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tampa Bay needs to be looking at the future as well. Signing Josh McCown is good for a year or two, while Lovie Smith rebuilds the team in his image, but Manziel would provide this once proud franchise it's new savior. Manziel would flourish in Tampa because they already have the offensive weapons in place for him to succeed.
